The oil change and tire rotation, you can't really go wrong. I asked for them to check out a loud thumping in my truck. They did. NOT that it's Whiteside's fault, it's more along Chevy's fault. My truck is a 2018 Chevy Silverado and when I bought it on November 1, 2018, it only had 9 miles on it. It has had a loud thump for about 3 months. No one can figure it out. The first time there, I had a worker ride with me and it didn't make the noise, so nothing could be done. The second time there, they thought it was the back springs, said that they pulled them apart and greased them. This time they said it was the rear axle and it's perfectly normal. That some trucks get it and some don't. Some are louder than others. Now I really don't thing that Mr. Whiteside would want to be driving his new vehicle and people staring at him when he's driving by as if he's driving an old clunker, because of such noises!? I have purchased 5 vehicles from Whiteside's, if I ever had any problems they work with me. The ladies in service scheduling are very nice and Henry is usually the one I go to here lately. Thanks. Didn't have any problems with the last Silverado. My kids keep yelling at me for going back, however we usually get good service from them, that is why we return. I can honestly say that I really like my truck, I just don't like the fact that I'm pay over $54,000 for a truck that clunks.
The service is good ,always has been,but this is the third time this work on my Silverado steering has gone bad,the first two times it was done for free,thank you very much,but with a truck with only 46000 miles this should not happen,it’s an engineering defect,this should not happen to every 2000 to 2006 Silverado,go to you tube to see how many trucks are affected,I did have to pay $315,which I didn’t think was to awful,thanks for listening

This past experience was the only successful one I have had. This was due to the maint. Shop.manager Roger..he did everything he could to make sure everything was completed..warranty items covered..rental was ready on arrival..kudos roger. All my experiences the past 3 years there has been a hassle every single time...service dept needs help...1 guy cant do it all
