Currently you have my Traverse in for transmission problems and I have no idea when I will get my car back, so I have already been without a car for a week ?? The car is covered by warranty, this is the second Traverse I have owned may be the last.
It took a bit longer than expected, but the staff was courteous and knowledgeable, as my husband had some questions about general maintenance on our new car. The wait was pleasant due to the nice waiting lounge with a very nice variety of drinks, snacks, and a TV to watch which was greatly appreciated. I even noticed a cell phone charging station which is a thoughtful touch to the lounge. Overall a very pleasant experience. We were impressed with the plaques on the wall for all the service technicians and how many years they have been doing their job. Quite amazing as most had quite a few years, which is good to know and comforting as they will be servicing our much-loved new car for many years to come.
Everything is/went well but you need to do something about parking in the area of the service department. In other dealerships in which I have been there is a nice, roomy and welcoming area inside the service area to leave the vehicle. The parking area is so congested I feel uncomfortable leaving it in such a congested area, for fear of being damaged. The other issue is that frequently there are delivery vehicles, sometimes quite large, further complicating the issue.
Staff is always very professional and friendly. I always feel that I am I "good hands" when I leave my vehicle with them for whatever reason, oil change, recall, etc. Very pleased with Whiteside and will continue to deal with them in future purchases.
